Glyco Defender's ingredients are studied for supporting roles: chromium in normal macronutrient metabolism, gymnema in traditional blood-sugar and sweet-craving support, green tea for metabolism and antioxidants, and ginseng, eleuthero and maca for everyday energy. Taken as one dropperful daily, it is meant to support — not replace — diet, activity and medical care.
What the ingredients are studied for
Chromium
Chromium is an essential trace mineral involved in normal carbohydrate and fat metabolism. The NIH Office of Dietary Supplements has a balanced fact sheet on what chromium does and the limits of the evidence.
Gymnema sylvestre
Gymnema is an Ayurvedic leaf nicknamed the "sugar destroyer," traditionally used in blood-sugar and sweet-craving support. It is a traditional-use botanical, not a proven treatment.
Green tea & adaptogen roots
Green tea extract is standardized for EGCG and studied for metabolism and antioxidant support (it also adds a little caffeine). Ginseng, eleuthero and maca are traditional adaptogen roots used for everyday energy. See NCCIH on green tea and NCCIH on Asian ginseng.
How to take Glyco Defender
- Shake the bottle well before each use.
- Take one full dropperful (1 mL) once daily, directly or mixed into water.
- Keep it consistent, at the same time each day, over steady weeks rather than days.
- Pair it with balanced meals, regular movement, sleep and your usual medical care.
Do not exceed the recommended dose, and follow the directions and Supplement Facts panel on your bottle, which are the authority. Results vary and are not guaranteed; the drops support your habits, they don't replace them or your medication.
